Christmas Past

I am very late decorating my own home this Christmas! It seems this holiday season came faster than ever.  As I begin to try to get it all done in 2 days, I take a look back at past Christmas photos to remember how the house was decorated. Here are a few of my favorites from the past 4 years.

Mantle Décor over the years-

Dining Room -

Kitchen

Foyer

living room

I am trying to pare down a bit this year- but I don't know if it's possible. I love the little details and trying to think of new ways to create them every year. I love unpacking my favorite collectibles  and ornaments and placing them in new spots.
We'll see- I only have these 2 days to get it all done! I have promised myself- no more glitter on the floors after Thursday!

Every picture is absolutely stunning! It is very synchronistic that just this morning I finally used my old, old faux glittered magnolia leaves mixed in with fresh pines in a bucket for a gazebo table, and I thought of using the huge tassels too and Ive never seen these anywhere but I see both here in your pics, though your tassels are white :D Your environment is very very lush and beautiful!

Just absolutely breathtaking! So much fun to see what you have done in the past and then to see this year's creations. Hope you reached your goal in two days!

These photos of Christmas past are nothing short of beautiful.
Thanks for taking the time to share during such a busy time of year. Don't fret about decorating -- just take a few deep breaths and enjoy your friends and family.
