Pop Up Sale Preparation for Winter Thaw Event

We are busy little beavers these days.   Too many things to make before our "Winter Thaw" Pop-Up Sale next Thursday.  But the Fed Ex man brings new excitement to the door every day!  Yesterday we received our tutus from Sisters of the Moon!  I couldn't wait to open the box and get them on the dress maker forms that we have been busy creating!  I ordered these tutus from their Etsy shop -  www.SistersOftheMoon.Etsy.com - and I am so happy!  These tutu's were full and fluffy and beautifully made and they look awesome on the forms.  Many colors are available on their site!  They are extremely accommodating and delivered on time!  Great source and I will definitely use them in the future!

I still have a lot of details to add to the mannequins, but you can get the idea!  We are using old lace and passementerie to create these delightful forms, perfect for parties, jewelry display or a prop in a girly girl's room!  They can  be pinned into and used as bulletin boards, showing off souvenirs, invitations, pictures.

Grey tea length tutu!  I adore it!  I can just see it over leggings with a pretty top! Romantic, yes!

Still need to paint , add jewels and ribbons to the forms , but it's a work in progress! I needed the tutus to get my inspiration for the finishing touches.  Let's see what I come up with!
 Big reveal at the event!

Yesterday, we received our new shipment of pumpkins for the event.  Yes, I realize people think of pumpkins for fall, but these little beauties will be the hit of any Cinderella celebration.  Can't you just see one of the rhinestone embellished ones- as a ring bearer pillow, with the ring on the stem! Adorable!

Here we are using the pumpkins  in a spring display with rabbits- something different other than eggs.
Love the new colors!

Steel grey velvet pumpkin with iridescent grey-brown stones.

Have also been busy packaging sugar flowers so you can decorate your own cakes for spring celebrations!

I  think the orange hibiscus would be stunning on a dark chocolate  cake!

Darling chartreuse pumpkin for springtime!

Floral tiaras for springtime birthday parties and showers.

So stay tuned!  Lot's more creations being dreamed up as the week goes on!
Hope to see you at the event!
